Injuries Just a cracked or strained collar bone. Not sure which as the doctor at A&E told me to take some paracetamol and stop moaning, even though I couldnt move it!
Skating experience Started skating on quads aged 11 at Rollerworld in Derby. Spent most of my teenage years there. Dabbled in a bit of quad speed skating. Had a 10 year break from skating and got back into it in 2007. Started speed skating again, but this time on inlines. Late 2007: I became a qualified BRSF/Sports Coach UK level 2. 2009 to Present: I became Race Director of F.I.S.S. (Federation of Inline Speed Skating). September 2010 to Present: I got invovled with coaching the Nottingham Roller Girls. And soon wanted some roller derby action for myself. With 2 Merby bouts under my belt I’ve got 2 more to come this year. Plus skating in the Uk’s first co-ed bout in September (2011)

Loves Skating of course! People who want to learn and try new things. A fat bassline. Intelligent comedy.
Despises Dossers! Jealousy. Roller girls who think roller derby is just for them. There’s more than enough for all of us.
